National Disability Voter Registration Week

RevUp Make the Disability Vote Count

National Disability Voter Registration Week is July 13 – 17.

The Art of Autism nonprofit believes the 2020 election may be the most significant election in the United States history. We encourage all people with disabilities to vote.

For those on the autism spectrum, the challenges can include feeling overwhelmed by the amount of information available and becoming anxious about the need to navigate the social aspects of the voting process when voting in person. Fortunately, many states have made it easy to vote by absentee ballot.

The National Rev Up Campaign coordinates the 35 million people with disabilities and organizations that support them to get out and vote. Go to the RevUp site to register to vote.

It is important that people with disabilities are represented in the 2020 census. You can go to the 2020 Census website and respond.
