I am an autistic female enrolling for a postgraduate degree in Autism Studies. I am interested in both females on the spectrum and the effects addiction might cause. I am myself a recovering alcoholic giving me an personal insight into this complex problem. Although I have applied for a government loan I have a shortfall in my funds. I am a single mother who has fled an abusive relationship. I feel that the course will give me a focus and help to rebuild my life and that of my children. I feel that my personal experiences will be valuable to my course. My ambition is too improve the lives of autistic people through my own experiences. Thank you for your time.
