Coronavirus Giveaway: The Art of Autism giving Dick Blick GC’s to 10 North American Families who have Autistic Children at Home

Art Supply Giveaway

The Art of Autism is sympathetic to the many families who have children who have been asked to stay at home during this difficult time.

What are parents to do with their children who have been forced to stay at home because of school closures? Many parents are staying at home with their children and losing wages from employment. 7 in 10 low-wage workers do not receive paid sick leave in the United States.

If you are a parent whose autistic child is 22 or under who is home from school and you are the primary caregiver (you can’t afford a nanny), please email us a few sentences telling us your situation. Include your child’s name, address, and age. We will choose 10 families to send $25 Gift Certificates for art supplies from Dick Blick. Deadline Saturday, March 31.

This is for those who are truly in need.

North America Only. Child must be on the autism spectrum and 22 or under. Child must be at home from an educational environment causing the family a financial hardship.

The Art of Autism respects your privacy and will not share your information.

We just received a $50 donation from Julie Blair so now the giveaway is to 12 families.

I have a 39yr old autistic son who likes art but has motor skills. Is there anything out there that maybe he can trace and then color?
Due to the pandemic he can’t attend his programs.
    Thank you
    Monica
