Ben: Outgoing, friendly, musical and #Aspie

Autism Unveiled Week 6

Aspergers is part of me. The fact I perceive detail and pay attention to details that don’t occur to typical people is what makes me different.

I’m able to study a subject much more in depth that typical people. My favorite subjects are Beatles lore and advocating for others on the Spectrum. I like subject matters that are logical. Social nuances don’t follow the rules of logic.

I have benefited from learning French as a child. I’m French-English bilingual. I feel that helped integrate my brain.

My favorite Beatles songs are Drive My Car and Eleanor Rigby. I have recorded all vocals and background instrumentals on all of the Beatles songs. Here are some of my songs I have uploaded to Reverbnation.com.

Hi Jake — thanks for sharing some of your life story here. How did you first become involved in music? And what advice do you have for others who are interested in pursuing a career in music?
