The ART of AUTISM welcomes and encourages visual artists, entertainers, and poets to send high resolution JPEG’s of your art work, demos (MP3s/You Tube) of your performance samples, and/or poetry, along with a high resolution photograph of yourself, and a 100 word bio about your work in the arts. We welcome moms and dads as “managers” and/or other support staff to support you in sending us this information if needed.

We are Seeking:

  • Visual Artists – all mediums
  • Poets
  • Singers/bands
  • Dancers
  • Comedians
  • Actors – speakers who can perform high energy monologues

The ART of AUTISM is about SHIFTING perceptions and creating futures in the arts for those on the autism spectrum by creating collaborations and a support network for creatives on the spectrum.

Upcoming art shows are scheduled for Long Beach, Ojai, and Carpinteria.

The ART of AUTISM seeks to shift our collective consciousness by looking deeper into our individual and common perceptions and values about autism. We believe that by taking intentional and directed action to evolve our intellectual, spiritual, emotional, and perceptual values, we can then come together at a greater level of global velocity, connectivity, and common purpose that benefits all.

Mission

The Art of Autism is a collaborative project that brings awareness to the general public the creative abilities of people with autism. Our plan is to do this, in part, by facilitating exhibits of their work throughout the world.

By bringing awareness about the artistic gifts of people on the spectrum, The Art of Autism inspires community members, gives hope to parents of children on the spectrum, as well as adults with autism, and shifts consciousness about autism.
